About Dr. Motazedi

Doctor Abbas Motazedi is currently the Chief of Endocrinology at Providence Hospital. He is a former assistant professor of Medicine at Georgetown University Medical Center and former Chief of Endocrinology and Nuclear Medicine at D.C. General. Dr. Motazedi has over 30 years of clinical and teaching experience in treating patients with Diabetes, Thyroid Conditions, Hypertension, Sexual Dysfunction, High Cholesterol, Osteoporosis, Hormonal Imbalances and other Endocrine abnormalities.

Dr. Motazedi received his training from Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Nuclear Medicine, Georgetown University Medical Service at D.C. General Hospital in Internal Medicine, University of Michigan in Endocrinology & Metabolism and Cornell Medical Center in Endocrinology & Metabolism. Dr. Motazedi is a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology and is Board Certified in Endocrinology & Metabolism, Geriatric Medicine, Internal Medicine and Nuclear Medicine.
