DEXA Bone Density Scan
Our state of the art DEXA Bone Density Scan Machine is used for screening and detecting osteoporosis. If you are over the age of 50 or past menopause, it is essential to know that you are at risk of Osteoporosis and should be informed on how to protect yourself from a potential fracture. Bone loss is something that cannot be seen nor felt, thus proper precautions must be taken. The bone density scan is simple, painless and only takes 5 minutes to be completed. Our state of the art equipment also measures your whole body fat content. The center accepts walk-ins for a bone density measurement on a daily basis from 9am until 4pm.
